Finally got out to shoot my favorite subject, Los Angeles this week. Man it feel great to get out and enjoy my city and discover some new locations. Who knew there was this awesome park in front of the Bonaventure? Really cool circular ponds and walk ways. So awesome. I stumbled upon it while walking around saying the most wonderful phrase a photographer can say, "I wonder what is over there?" :) hehe
How this shot was made: Canon 5D mkII, Canon 16-35mm f2.8L II lens 5 Exposure Brackets shot on Location
Merged all 5 exposures using the Merge to 32-bit HDR plug-in. Basic adjustments in Lightroom on 32-bit HDR then taken into Photoshop. Thanks to the new addition of all the NIK software plug-ins I used Viveza 2 for structure and micro contrast of the foreground, Dfine 2 for noise reduction, and a small curves adjustment for the sky.
